Fiber Arts Guild

The Fiber Arts Guild meets once a month on a Thursday to discuss fiber, work on projects, and plan more things to do with string! We are a new guild and welcome all at meetings.

If you'd like information regarding the fiber arts guild, please contact Sunnifa Heinreksdottir

Tailors's Guild

The people of this guild are members of the SCA in the East Kingdom. This is a Clothiers Guild dedicated to the promotion of fine craftsmanship in reproduction clothing from the eras before 1600 C.E.

Toward that measure we shall commence our membership as apprentices with possible advancement following due process through the ranks of senior apprentice, journeyman and finally guildmaster.

Peasant Collective

Calling all Peasants!

Do you yearn for the simple life?

Could you care less for titles of nobility and the trappings of wealth?

Do you prefer the feel of linen and wool over silk and velvet?

Is your favorite weapon the pitchfork?

Would you rather spend the evening around a dirty campfire with mead and good friends instead of in fancy halls with fine wines and polite society?

Do you enjoy the pleasures of making your own bread, baskets, cheese, soap, candles, etc...?

Can you recite the lines from the "Help, Help, I'm being oppressed!" scene in Monty Python's Search for the Holy Grail? Do you feel his pain?

Do you believe in the ideal of working together with your neighbor and sharing the fruits of your labor?

If so, then consider yourself cordially invited to join the new Peasant Collective! We are a simple band of loosely organized peasants who meet when one of us says, "Hey, let's get together and make something!" Be it candles, soap, bread, cheese, baskets,..whatever. Everyone pitches in on the costs and labor involved in each project and then we all split the fruits of our labor equally.

Please contact one of the members of the Troika if you are interested and we will organize our first meeting of the new year!

Peace, Land, and Bread!

Kitchener's Guild

The Kitchener's Guild is not a Baronial guild, but rather a group consisting of past feast-o-crats and friends with an interest in cooking and preparing feasts. We have 3 levels of experience in the guild, and will always take in new members who are interested in cooking. We try out recipes for future events, and act as parent feastocrat for newbie feastocrats. We are going to be the responsible owners of all collective cooking equipment.
